Prechae Rodriguez: Chose CFL to play right away

TheSpec.com - Local Sports - Cat be nimble, but quick-fit?: "The Tampa native played three seasons at Auburn, where he caught 38 passes for 530 yards in 36 NCAA games. The rub is Rodriguez initially went to Auburn as a basketball recruit, so he has only played three football seasons. But the Ticat brass say he was the best receiver who attended the club's recent free-agent camp in Tampa.
So, why isn't he playing in the National Football League?
'A couple of teams tried to sign him as a free agent, but we convinced him he would have a better opportunity here. As a young player, he would get the chance to play right away. We're glad he wants to be here,' O'Billovich explained"
