Karlos Dansby: Signing 1yr 8M deal with Arizona

Cards' Dansby to sign 1-year deal: "Cardinals inside linebacker Karlos Dansby, the team's franchise player, plans to sign his one-year tender offer within the next few days, according to NFL sources.
Once Dansby signs, the $8.065 million tender becomes guaranteed.
Dansby's agent, Kirk Wood, has been seeking a multi-year deal for more than a year, and the two sides have talked intermittently since the Cardinals placed the franchise tag on Dansby in February.
But talks have gone nowhere, and Dansby apparently plans to sign the tender. The Cardinals and Dansby have until July 15 to reach a multi-year deal. If they don't meet that deadline, Dansby can't sign a new contract until after the 2008 season.
