Maryville's Carl Stewart waits for NFL chance: "Carl Stewart was a tailback at Maryville. At Auburn he was mostly a blocking back for his last couple of seasons. He could fit in at either position in the pros. But first, he's gotta get that call. Stewart got a free agent look from Tampa Bay back in the spring, and he's been working out... preparing... and waiting for that next opportunity.
'It's really just self drive all the time,' said Stewart. 'I've always had a coach behind me with a whistle making me do things. The past couple of weeks it has been me on my own. I really have to keep my intensity up"
